Checking In: What do you think so far?

Dear you, reading this…

So here we are, almost at the end of 2020, the year that Heyday was created and launched in the midst of the mind-bending chaos of the pandemic. But despite the un-ending drama of the year, we have held each other up and collectively made it to here - so, congratulations to all of us!

A huge part of Heyday for me, is you. The membership community that is building beautifully around this platform is a delight to witness and an honour to helm.

I always intended that you, the members, be at the centre of it. You, along with the writers and contributors, are its beating heart. But I want to be sure we stay on track - that we keep creating, and that I keep curating what you enjoy to read, listen to, and engage with. So with that in mind, I ask you for your feedback on what you’ve seen so far, and also, what is in the works for 2021, so that I can trust the compass I’ve set, as it were.

rome wasn’t built in a day

As a brand new brand, things take time to refine, and not many great things are created in vacuums either. Pandemic-enforced lockdowns has all of us connecting virtually. When it should have been ideas and strategies shared over kitchen tables and coffees, it’s been texts written hastily when the kids are in bed and WhatsApp voice notes recorded in exhausted tones after Zoom calls with worried parents. It’s been a lonely enough start for a concept that is all about bringing women in their midlife together, so your opinion and input on Heyday so far would be very valuable, and so appreciated.

TELL ME WHAT YOU REALLY THINK

The below questions can be anonymous, I will not receive your name or email, unless you choose to leave them, so you can say what you wish. You can write as much, or as little, as you want in each box and all opinions are welcome (be kind though, 2020’s been a brutal overlord!).

With my thanks and love,
Ellie

thank you!
